Brussels, Belgium – July 21, 2025 — The Global Tourism Forum (GTF) has officially unveiled the first wave of confirmed speakers for its flagship event, the Annual Meeting 2025, taking place on October 20–21 at the prestigious Square Brussels Convention Centre. This year’s theme, “Redefining Tourism in a Changing World,” will guide discussions on innovation, resilience, and transformation in global travel.

The Annual Meeting is set to attract top government leaders, industry CEOs, investors, and policy influencers from across the globe. The first speakers announced reflect the forum’s commitment to diverse, high-level dialogue:

  • Michael B. Christides – Former Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC), bringing extensive expertise in regional diplomacy and cross-border cooperation to the tourism landscape. Michael Christides
